She is in a different exchange program, but we talk a lot to learn about each other’s country and culture. What fascinates me about her the most is what is she studying.
Her major is surprisingly, Chinese. However, she told me that many Russians are studying Chinese and many Chinese students are learning Russian. So to her, it’s not a big deal at all.
Russian and Chinese are definitely one of the world’s hardest languages to study.
However at the same time, Russia and China are neighboring countries and it is natural that people in those countries travel to each country and learn their languages. It is like people in Europe can speak multiple European languages.
However to me, Russian and Chinese are far different language, so it was interesting to learn the fact that those two countries have a connection like this.
Also, Russia and China are two completely different countries.

As I mentioned first, Russian and Chinese are two hardest language to gain. You would need much efforts to learn and master those languages.
Maybe someday in the future, Russia and China would lead the world…
